Welcome to Claire’s cakes Cheltenham which was established in 2011, I would like to tell you a little about myself...

I come from a family that have a creative background & have only recently found this all out. My great great great grandfather was a baker & so were his sons, my grandad was a talented drawer & loved watercolours too.

My mum was an award winning florist & created amazing art in flowers & then came me....... strangely enough I didn’t think I had this talent until back in 2011 & a friend asked me to make a cake for his daughters 1st birthday. I loved making this & found that another friend asked me to make a 3d gecko cake soon after & this was challenging but I was thrilled with the end result & posted onto my Facebook page. I soon realised this new creativity skill & things took off very quickly & the business was born which is Claire’s Cakes Cheltenham. My son Myles has also since developed a flair in design & is working within a design company for sustainable products...so maybe this is in our family blood line.

I pride myself in using all the best ingredients & techniques to turn flour, eggs, butter, icing & chocolate into the dream cake you have your heart set on.

I love what I do & see it so far away from a job because every day is different, my passion is wedding cakes & decorative cakes with lots of techniques to make them stand out & make that statement piece & to make them as realistic as possible.

Many customers come back year after year & book for the following year as they can’t wait to book their next cake, I have loved the feedback I get when people see their cake & how this starts so many other conversations & many say they do not want to cut the cake but keep it forever.
